Shipping policy

At ED Supply, our primary shipping coverage is anywhere within Puerto Rico, catering to all your appliance needs. We are also excited to announce that we can now ship Kucht brand products anywhere within the continental US. Please note that we can only ship other brands or products in Puerto Rico.

Shipping Methods

We offer free shipping by mail on eligible orders. For local deliveries within Puerto Rico, we use two delivery methods depending on the size of your order:

  1. Independent Ground Carriers: For appliance orders, which are often large and heavy, we engage a network of trusted, independent ground carriers. These carriers are seasoned experts in handling and transporting bulky items such as refrigerators and washing machines.

  2. Islandwide Logistics: We entrust smaller packages to the reliable services of Islandwide Logistics. Renowned for their extensive coverage and prompt delivery, Islandwide Logistics ensures your smaller purchases reach you immediately.

Shipping Process

Order Confirmation: Once you place your order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received it and are processing it for shipment.

Shipping Confirmation: If shipping through Islandwide Logistics, when your order is dispatched, we will send you a second email containing your tracking number. This enables you to monitor the journey of your package from our warehouse to your doorstep.

Delivery: Independent ground carriers handle deliveries of appliances, which are scheduled according to a pre-agreed date and time at the shipping confirmation stage. Islandwide Logistics will manage the delivery of smaller packages, following their delivery procedures.

Important Delivery Notes

It's important to note that all deliveries, whether large appliances or smaller packages require a signature upon receipt. Please ensure someone else can sign on your behalf if you cannot be there during delivery.

Our standard delivery service includes transporting the equipment to your home and placing it on the ground floor or first level of the residence.

Please note that if your home has multiple floors and access requires climbing stairs, this service is not included in the delivery. Any additional handling beyond the first level must be arranged by the customer.

At the time of delivery, the designated area must be completely clean and cleared. All access points must be free of obstacles, allowing proper movement of personnel and equipment to the delivery location.

It is essential that there are no obstructions in hallways, entrances, stairways, or maneuvering areas, as the equipment being delivered is heavy and bulky, and must be handled using specialized equipment.

Deliveries will be carried out with the safety and well-being of the delivery personnel as a top priority. Under no circumstances will delivery staff exceed safe handling limits or expose themselves to excessive weight that could result in physical injury.

Failure to comply with these conditions may result in the rescheduling of the delivery.

Installation services are not included as part of the delivery.

ED SUPPLY is not responsible for appliances ordered with incorrect measurements that may later result in on-site issues, including but not limited to products not fitting properly within the designated space, cabinetry conflicts, construction limitations, or related field conditions.

Our services are strictly limited to the supply and delivery of products under the standards and conditions specified by our company. We reiterate thatED SUPPLY does not perform installations, cabinetry modifications, construction work, or structural alterations under any circumstances.

Once the equipment has been delivered to the designated entry point, it is the customer's responsibility to move and position it within the interior of the home.

Customers have a period of 24 hours from the time of delivery to report any damage to the equipment. After this period, no claims will be accepted.

Shipping Costs

The total cost of shipping, if any, is calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order. The final cost will be provided at checkout.

Shipping Times

For in-stock items, please allow 5-7 business days for your order to arrive. However, during the holiday seasons or due to unforeseen circumstances, delivery times may vary.
